Once in a lifetime

Well... it's happening, something I have been talking about for the last year has found it's way to reality. I really didn't know Vanuatu was a country before a month ago now I'm going there in a month to do my part in bridging the so-called "digital divide". The idea is that I will be able to help enough so the ni-Vanuatu people can benefit from modern information and communications technologies working for promoting and developing a sustainable way of life with a rapidly growing population and an economy transitioning from sustenance to cashish almighty.

I will be working based out of the Wantok Environmental Centre and helping improve their network, data management, and technical knowledge. I will also be shared among other local NGOs operating in Luganville, Santo, Vanuatu.
